I have reviewed the 20 Mandarin project on UglyIrvine.com, and I believe this project is completely inappropriate anywhere in Irvine, and especially Woodbridge. It's highly visible and an eyesore. It does not fit the neighborhood, and is way too large. I don't want to live in a concrete jungle with row houses. I want modest homes with greenery. You should be denying this project on several grounds even if it complied with the setback, not granting a variance to allow it to be even bigger.
